This is the twentieth piece in our regular fortnightly series
of Artists on Ibiza and this week José and I went along
to visit the German artist, Hagen Voss, who lives with his
wife in their house just off the road to Es Cubells, which
is situated in the beautiful San José area of Ibiza,
where the views are truly stunning across the sea to sister
island of Formentera.
Hagen Voss is a quiet and reserved man who
takes his work very seriously and he’s the first artist
that we’ve come across who has air-conditioning installed
in his studio, which makes good common sense, because obviously
this is where he spends most of his valuable time during our
very hot summers working on creating his colourful paintings.
